Feeling bad? Use that to spark your change.

Making mistakes is all part of the human experience. We all do things, say things, make choices that don’t lead to our best potential. And then we feel bad about it.

Contemplate on what that feeling is telling you. What do you now recognize you could have done differently? What did you learn about something you value?

Make that remorse, regret, that ‘feel bad’ productive. Use it to spark your change and growth. Fan that feeling into that first step toward your change. What is something that you can do in the future so that you live by what is important to you?

Take the lesson from whatever it is that you did (or didn’t do) and propel yourself upward. And then let those bad feelings go. Don’t beat yourself up about your past. It got you onto your path to change and better things.
