What is your playfulness type?

There’s no right way or best way to be playful.

Just as there are different personality types and people have different interests, there are different ways that people feel playful.

Dr. René T. Proyer outlines 4 playfulness types.

Other-directed: Those who like to fool around with friends and acquaintances
Light-hearted: People who regard their whole live as a type of game
Intellectual: Those who like to play with thoughts and ideas, and are able to turn monotonous tasks into something interesting
Whimsical: Tend to be interested in ‘strange and unusual things’ and are amused by small, everyday observations

Here is an unscientific quiz based on those 4 types that can perhaps shed some light on your playful type.  (If you can’t relate to some of the questions because your life is so busy, think back to a time that you were less busy, like when you were a kid.)
