“What if this was all OK?”

In moments that seem overwhelming or stressful, ask yourself, “What if this was all OK?” What if this incident or situation really didn’t hold any threat over you or have any power over your happiness and peace of mind? Imagine that your safety is intact even while this is going on.

In reality, all* is really OK for you. Because whatever is happening is part of Hashem’s greater plan for you. Sometimes, you see it very soon thereafter, sometimes it is much later. But it really is all OK.

*This is true in most cases that people feel stressed. It is not relevant in cases of abuse, etc.
