The energy it takes to react to every bad thing that happens to you drains you and stops you from seeing the other good things in life. It’s not the best use of your energy, attention and time.
It is not possible to make people like you. You can’t get people to treat you that way you want to be treated.
That is not to say that you are OK with it. You can choose to rise above it. You can choose to take the lesson it served and learn from it. You can choose to be at peace despite what happened.
Work on your inner self rather than work on those around you. You’ll be more at peace with yourself and your world.
Sometimes not saying anything at all says everything. In the long run, that it is what is best for you.
