Asking the right questions can empower you.

Asking questions: The right questions can empower you. The wrong ones drag you down.

“Why can’t I bring myself to do what I need to move forward?” Such a question is disempowering and will drag you down. Flip the question to a more positive one. “In what ways am I courageous?”

Questions compel us to seek answers. When we are asked a question, we subconsciously look for answers to the question. If we ask a negative question, we look for more evidence of that negative thought – more evidence of not being courageous to move forward. And we manifest more of what we focus on.

Conversely, when we ask “In what ways am I courageous?” we are looking for evidence of our courage – even if they are tiny.

Such questions are called ‘Afformations’ as developed by Noah St John. The key is to form your issue into a question which assumes that what you want is already true. The point of Afformations is not to find “the answer” but to ask better questions. When you ask better questions, your mind automatically begins to focus on what you have as opposed to what you don’t have.

Of course, it is important to take new ACTIONS based on your new assumptions about yourself.

By changing the negative questions we ask ourselves into positive ones, we empower ourselves!
