Assuming good intent.

The ability to see intention,
even when the execution is imperfect.

People do not always show up in the best way.
Or the clearest way.
Or your preferred way.

Sometimes they miss the mark entirely.

But that does not automatically mean their intent was bad.

Pause before assigning meaning —
especially negative meaning.

Most of the time, people are not trying to hurt you.
They are trying — imperfectly — to connect, care, help, or show up.

You may not love how it came out.

But you can still recognize what it was trying to be.
