These words are sarcastic, condescending and they also have the connotation that you want to evade your responsibility in the situation. It is basically saying that you don’t want to deal with the matter, and that you think that the other person is unreasonable in expecting that you can help.
By saying this, not only have you have not solved the original issue, you have just added a new problem with your attitude.
Instead you might say, “I’m sorry, I really do not know what to recommend, but I wish I did, I’d like to resolve this (with you).” Or, “Help me know what you think is a resolution here.” Or, “I am also frustrated/stumped about this; I wish I could have a simple answer here.”
