If it is a ‘one-off’, let it go. Forgive and forget.

In the same way that you don’t like to be reminded about every mistake you made, neither does your spouse. Your spouse is human. Let it go.

If it is a trend, or there is an important life or marriage lesson to be learned, think about HOW (and when) to bring it up before gets bigger or deeper entrenched into the culture of your marriage.
→ How to gauge: if when you do bring it up, will your spouse’s comment “why didn’t you bring this up earlier?” be a reasonable comment? Then bring it up as soon as you are noticing the pattern emerging.
