‘Me Time’ actually makes us more productive, minimizes stress, strengthens our relationships, and reboots our brains.
Even if it seems impossible, there are ways to make more time for yourself.
Two ideas:
Say ‘no’ to some things so you can say ‘yes’ to yourself. Sometimes, you may have to say no to something you enjoy so you can do something even more productive for yourself. Like saying no to whatsapp for a few days so you can have time for a run.
Have a 5 minute vacation. Pre-plan this. Know what you can do when you have 5 minutes for yourself. A quick walk around the block. A cup of favorite tea. Meditate. Read a chapter of your book.
Plan ‘me time’ – for your sake, and everyone around you.
