What do you really want?

What is it that you really want? The majority of people know exactly what they don’t want, but don’t really know what they DO want.

Or, they sort of know the direction of what they want, but they haven’t clearly articulated it to themselves. And worse, they hope that their spouse or friend can figure it out for them. That isn’t fair to the spouse.

Or, they are aiming for an emotion – “I want to be happy” but don’t describe to themselves what they will be doing in their lives to be happy. Or they don’t even describe to themselves what their definition of happiness is; it is just not what I am feeling right now.

Spend the time to articulate to yourself what it is that you really want, and formulate a realistic manageable plan to get there. Enlist the appropriate supports to get there.
