The goal is not to be better than others or to prove that you are right. Rather, work to continuously improve yourself.
When we have a fixed mindset, we try to prove ourselves so we can win. We dig in our heels to show that we were right. We look for data to prove that our ideas or theories are correct.
With a growth mindset, we continuously strive to be better. We’re curious to learn from situations. We ask for feedback and insights from others. We look at things from several angles. We try new things even if we aren’t good at them (yet).
Be open to learn, to challenge yourself, to expand. In all areas of life (relationships, business, family). We get better much faster by focusing on improving rather than proving.
