Good intentions are not enough. Turn them into intentionality.

You know you want to improve in some area. Or, at least you know that you don’t want whatever it is to continue in the way that it is.

Think positively and specifically: “What I will do” vs “What I will not do anymore”.

You can’t just tell yourself that you won’t get stressed over small things. You must have a plan of what you will do when a stressor comes along. If you don’t have a plan, then you will inevitably fall back to your default way of dealing. Be intentional. To achieve your goal, do you need to learn a new skill? Adopt a new mindset? Pre-plan for the inevitable obstacles? Be intentional about it. Learn, practice, get support.
