Don’t look backward (hindsight bias)

There really is no use in “I told you so” or “I knew it” or “Those were some dumb decisions you made a few days ago” or “Dumb decisions I made a few days ago.” Not that those are ever useful, but in these Covid days, there is so much unknown, we are all trying our best to make some sense out of it all.

Some decisions were made based on the info being shared at the time although in hindsight, it might not have been the best move.

Additionally, people deal with changes and disappointments in different ways. Some love the excitement of so much newness at once, many find it overwhelming and exhausting. Sometimes, people make decisions just to stop looking at all the ever-changing possibilities; their mental health is crucial too.

Plow forward. Stay safe and sane.
