If what you have been doing is working anymore (or it never really worked in the first place), let it go. This applies to the way you’ve been trying to make your spouse change, nagging, food choices, budget plans, and so many other things.
Do something different, anything different. Try something new. You may not get it right at first, it may take a few tries. But sticking to what doesn’t work – just because it is familiar – definitely won’t get you what you are seeking.
Don’t let your normal become your enemy. Dump it to make room for what is possible.
