Yes, you are at home and you might wish you were somewhere else. You may be missing a wedding or an important conference or your friends. Or you might have had an event cancelled on you.
But, JOMO. There is joy in missing out. Instead, be present to what is. Tune out the “I wish I was somewhere else” or “At this exact time I should be doing something else.” Don’t compare now to what your dreams or expectations were.
JOMO. Live in the slow lane. In the present. Not in regrets of the past or worries of the future. Be grateful for what is in your life. Use the time to deepen and build your relationships, learn a new skill, introduce yourself to a new type of music, practice a little self care.
