For some of us, making a decision can be overwhelming: Should I choose A or B? We deliberate and ruminate and then we don’t make any decision at all. We choose neither A or B. Often, we do this because as long as no decision has been made, the potential of the outcome remains.
But in a way, we have made some choice. We chose option C – that is choosing to do neither. And then we live in that stress and frustration of indecision, and thinking and rethinking and not moving forward.
So maybe in reality, the question isn’t so much about which option is the better choice? Maybe it is really, “Why am I too scared to move forward?”
